Selecting the best entertainment for your once-in-a-lifetime celebration can be an overwhelming task so we thought it would be helpful to provide some insight to the “stress-free” DJ EXPERIENCE wedding planning process.

 

We summarized it with a six-step process and listed it below for you to see.

 

Step 1: Upon contacting THE DJ EXPERIENCE via phone 732-955-4739 or by the Contact page on this site, we will set up a face-to-face event consultation.  It can last anywhere from 45 mins to 2 hours depending on the discussion points and conversation.  The initial consultation is a great way for you to meet with your potential DJ/MC.  This is an opportunity to share your vision, and to find out about the many enhancement options available to you.  Additionally, the initial consultation is a great way to learn about our passion, our talent, our ability, and how The DJ Experience will design our services around your style, taste, and budget.  (For out-of-state or nonlocal couples, we can do a Zoom or FaceTime virtual consultation as well).

 

Step 2: Decision time.   To secure your date, a signed contract and a 25% retainer/deposit is required.  Contracts will be mailed or emailed to you along with access to our online planning system.

 

Step 3: Planning phase. During the planning phase, couples are encouraged to take advantage of the online planning tools.  There you can view or make changes to your itinerary, and create a music playlist.  You will be contacted by us to address any questions or ideas you may have.

 

Step 4: Event review. Approximately one month before the celebration, it is time for the final event review.  At this face-to-face meeting, your DJ/MC will meet with you to go over all of the details regarding the celebration.  Timeline Information, Music selections, and Enhancement finalizations will all be addressed at this time.

 

Step 5: Finalization. Expect a call or email the week of the celebration to ensure all details have remained the same.

 

Step 6: Event day. By this point in the process, you should feel relieved and excited.  All of the planning has been completed and The DJ Experience will ensure each and every request or requirement is materialized at your celebration to perfection.  Now it is time to enjoy the wedding celebration, and be a guest at your own event, knowing THE DJ EXPERIENCE has you covered for all entertainment items.
